SUMMARY:SouthCoast Voices – Taunton
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, September 15th from 5-7 PM\, the SouthCoast Empowered by Equity Data (SEED) Initiative is hosting a SouthCoast Voices session at Talisa’s on Main (65 Main Street\, Taunton\, MA 02780). \nSouthCoast Voices aims to better understand the needs and experiences of individuals living in the SouthCoast region. \nAdult residents are invited to participate in this study which is being conducted by UMass Boston’s Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy in collaboration with the Women’s Fund SouthCoast. \nWe want to hear from residents about the essentials needed to live with stability in Gateway Cities in SouthCoast Massachusetts. \nDuring each session\, participants will be invited to prepare and share a meal\, followed by a facilitated group discussion lasting approximately 2 hours. Participants will be asked to complete a brief voluntary survey on their backgrounds after the session. \nWe will make accessibility accommodations requested to the best of our ability. Participants will receive a $50 grocery card. \nLearn more and express interest for an upcoming session by completing this interest form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3C3PMZN. \nIf you have questions about the sessions or need more information\, please contact Amrith at A.FernandesPrabhu@umb.edu or Talisa Proctor at talisasonmain@gmail.com. \nThank you to Talisa’s on Main for serving as community partners on this project. Thank you to Tanya Lobo (T.R.U.E. Diversity) for being community ambassadors for this project.
